Testing, testing, testing. Yes, fertility testing can be helpful—even essential. A well-timed test can reveal a nutrient deficiency, a hormonal imbalance, or a clue that nudges us closer to the child we’re longing for.
But in recent years, I’ve received more and more emails like this one (paraphrased here):
“I actually spent almost as much on testing as I did on my IVFs. I assumed most of these tests would be covered by insurance, but my naturopath insisted on using a lab in Europe. The shipping costs alone were massive. And in the end? I was told my magnesium and vitamin D were low and that I should avoid dairy, caffeine, and alcohol—things I already knew. Oh, and even though I had no digestion issues, I was told I needed a very expensive parasite cleanse or I’d be at risk for a high-risk pregnancy.”
So let’s ask some real questions:
- Should fertility testing be covered by insurance?
- Are all these tests truly necessary?
- And who benefits when we’re prescribed long lists of expensive supplements and lab work?

This Fertility Testing Ebook is an invitation to pause and reflect. It’s not about rejecting science—it’s about reclaiming agency. About understanding the difference between helpful guidance and fear-based marketing.
And in that spirit, I’d love to hear from you.
