Using the Fertile Heart Ovum tools to support you through pregnancy, birth and motherhood.
Congratulations, you’re pregnant! I still remember quite vividly the fist time I heard those words!
Pregnancy for everyone, but especially when you’ve been on a scenic road to motherhood, can be such a thrill that you feel you have reached your goal.
But of course, as we all soon realize, we’re simply hitting the next trail on the human pilgrimage: Pregnancy—carrying our child to term, then giving birth, and then motherhood. Being the amazing Visionary mamas we always knew we could be. For the rest of our lives.
Post partum joy
For the women in our community, the Fertile Heart™ practice remains a source of strength and guidance throughout pregnancy and beyond. I find that for those of us who engage in the practice, post partum challenges are much less likely to occur. As we work through some of the Orphan rooted fears and conflicts before pregnancy and birth, we are much more grounded, much more prepared for the rest of this miraculous journey.
Many of my clients use the Current of Creation Meditation on the Body Truth CD, throughout the pregnancy, to keep them connected to their bodies and their babies, and to gently release fears linked to childbirth. The specific guided imagery sequences especially on Fertile Heart Imagery 2 CDs (Nine Hearts, The First Nursery, It’s All Good, Blanket of Reassurance, Busy Being Born, Claiming Your Inheritance) are intended to support you on receiving the many insights that emerge during the emotionally charged months of pregnancy, allowing for depth of healing and joy that might not be otherwise possible.
As Kendra, one of the moms in our community shared on the Visionary Mama Forum of the Fertile Heart message board, the use of the tools contributed to her “fast and easy labor & delivery.
As you might have discovered during your journey toward motherhood, the Fertile Heart™ tools cannot be practiced in solitude. Which is why Fertile Heart™ moms have often returned to be part of our gatherings in New York City and returned to participate in our Phone Circles.
We are also bringing in Guest Teachers, such as integrative pediatricians, naturopaths who specialize in pediatric health, herbalists and other health practitioners experienced in child-related health issues.
We would love to hear your suggestions on guest teachers and other resources you might like to see on FertileHeart.com.
Since hiring a post partum Doula was such a lovely gift I’ve given myself after Adi’s birth, I thought I’d share with you some insights gained from my own experience with Doulas in this piece: Is Hiring a Doula Right for You?

Parenting the Mom, parenting the child
The Fertile Heart™ Ovum tools have been a huge source of strength during my own pregnancy and birth of my “inconceivable baby” and they continue to be so during each phase of my parenting adventures. There is nothing like motherhood to bring out the Orphans from their hiding places. Which of course means that there is nothing like motherhood to feed the Visionary within us; nothing like motherhood that allows us to see the magnificent reflection of the Ultimate Mom in every moment; in each smile on a child’s face and each teardrop that might follow seconds later.
I look forward to hearing about your adventures and hope our Visionary Mama’s community can be a source of strength, inspiration and support on this next part of your journey.
